(Ἰφιδάμας; Iphidámas). Figure from the Trojan epic cycle, son of Antenor [1] and Theano. Raised by Cisseus, his maternal grandfather, in Percote in Thrace, he left his home against his wife's wishes in order to assist the Trojans. The slaying of I. and his brother Coon by Agamemnon, described in Hom. Il. 11,218-263, was also depicted on the Cypselus chest (Paus. 5,19,4).
