Ligurian oppidum and river (not of the Taurini, Ptol. 3,1,35 incorrect), regio IX (Plin. HN 3,49), c. 25 km before  Dertona (It. Ant. 288), modern Voghera. Forum probably dates from Augustan period; uncertain when it became colonia Forum Iulium Iriensium (CIL V 785; 7375). Pre-Roman remains, bridge on the via Postumia over the I.
