(Ἰθωρία; Ithōría). Fortified settlement in Aetolia, destroyed in 219 BC by Philip V (Pol. 4,64,9f.). Finds within the line of the Hellenistic walls on the left bank of the Achelous  on the hilltop above the modern village of Hagios Ilias date from the Mycenaean to the early Roman periods.
