Iunior
(101 words)

[German version]

Author of a dedicatory inscription (six distichs under the heading Ἰουνίωρος; Iouníōros), in which a statue of Aphrodite proclaims that it was erected in Sinuessa (Campania) next to a temple with a view of the sea: Eon (ᾘῶν; Ēiôn, v. 3), the one performing the dedication, introduces herself as a freedwoman of Drusus (the Elder or the Younger?) and his wife (v. 4). It cannot be proved that this poet is identical with Seneca's friend Lucilius Iunior or with the epigrammatist  Pompeius Macer Iunior.
