(Λάων; Láōn). Writer of the New Comedy. As he is quoted by Heraclides [18], it is safe to assume he belongs in the 3rd cent. BC. Two fragments are extant, of which fragment 1 is from a play Διαθῆκαι (Diathêkai, ‘The Wills’); in fragment 2 (without a play title) an adulterer speaks.
