Latini is the name of the inhabitants of the region between the Tiber in the north, montes Corniculani, Praenestini, Lepini in the east, Garigliano and the southern sector of the Sacco and Liris valleys in the south, and the Tyrrhenian Sea in the west (Plin. HN 3,56ff.), Latium that of the region.
