Town of the prisci Latini, founded by Alba Longa north of the Anio (Liv. 1,33,4; 38,4; Medullum, Plin. HN 3,68). The town was captured by the Romans in the war against the Latini (340-338 BC). Deserted by the end of the Roman Republic; its exact location is unknown.
