Ibero-Roman city (Str. 3,4,13: Σεγοβρίγα/Segobríga; Ptol. 2,6,56: Σεγουβία/Segoubía; Plin. HN 3,25), Ruins - including an amphitheatre - on the Cabeza del Griego hill, 2 Roman miles to the south of Saelices (province of Cuenca). S. was a member of the  conventus of Carthago Nova (CIL II 4252).
