(Σπλαῦνον; Splaûnon). The location of the fortress conquered by Germanicus [2] in 9 AD (Cass. Dio 56,11-17) is debatable: near Šipovo (extended settlement from the Roman period: [1]) or farther east at Plevlje in Bosnia: [2].
