[1] Greek painter and poet from Chalcis, c. 450 BC

Greek Classical period painter and poet (?) from Chalcis; known only from Plin. HN 35,58, who gives an account of a painting competition during the Pythian Games in Delphi (c. 450-440 BC), which T. won against Panaenus. The scale and appearance of his works are unknown.
