A boyhood friend of Ovidius, who was able to include T.'s name () in a letter to him only by playing with the actual syllable quantities (Ov. Pont. 4,12,10 f., cf. 4,14,1 f.). He appears to have translated the episode of the Phaeacians in the Odyssey into Latin (ibid. 4,16,27 with 4,12,27).
