Bishop of the Goths (Goti), author of a Gothic translation of the Bible (Bible translations), the most important source by far for the Gothic language and the East-Germanic languages in general. Son of a Christian Greek mother (captured in a Gothic raid on Cappadocia) and a Gothic father.
