An outgrowth of an exhibition of the same name by the Jewish Museum New York [#511]. The current show featured 16 of the original objects, and excerpts from the original catalog. To this material were added 50 works from Canadian collections, a brief essay about the new Canadian element, and a selection of ceremonial objects lent by local synagogues (mentioned but not listed in the catalog).
