Books from the Soncino Press, displayed in conjunction with the conference “Gli ebrei in Lombardia nel Quattro e Cinquecento” [Jews in Lombardy in the Fifteenth and Sixteenth Centuries]. The conference honored the publication of the monumental study The Jews in the Duchy of Milan (Shlomo Simonsohn, 1982). Introduction by Angelo Paredi. All exhibits were from Milan collections: the Biblioteca Ambrosiana, the Biblioteca Nazionale Braidense, and the Biblioteca Trivulziana. Itemized listing of 39 exhibits. 41 items. |
