Description |
Archival material collected at the behest of Emanuel Ringelblum and later hidden by him. Two (of the three) portions of this secret cache, which preserved documents, interviews of deportees, and eye-witness accounts of the 2 years preceding the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, were discovered in 1946 and 1950, buried in milk cans and tin boxes. The third cache has never been found. No itemized listing.
