Description

Religious and cultural objects demonstrating the plethora of museums, historical societies, and private collections in Manitoba dedicated to its individual ethnic and relgious groups. Items displayed according to community (Chinese, Icelandic, Jewish, Mennonite, Polish, Ukrainian, Serbian), with descriptions of both the objects and the institutions that house them. Jewish exhibits came from the Jewish Historical Society of Western Canada and private collections (cat. nos. 8–22). Descriptive entries. 60 items.
