A traveling exhibition of artifacts, documents and photographs relating to Floridian Jews that laid the foundation for the establishment of the Jewish Museum of Florida in 1995. Extensive essay on the history of Florida’s Jewish community. Brief descriptions of the exhibition’s 11 sections, which included: Immigration Routes, Families, Sephardim, Holocaust, Zionism, etc. More than 500 photographs. No itemized listing.

Description

The majority of the artifacts and images from this exhibition became part of the Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU when the Museum opened in April 1995. A large part of the exhibition makes up the Museum’s core permanent exhibit.
