Description

The poem “A Woman of Valor”, as interpreted by 32 artists who were invited to create an interpretive piece around one of its verses. Antique objects of Jewish art, inspired by or dedicated to women, were presented in the prelude gallery. Exhibition conceived in memory of weaver Julia Forchheimer, who opened the handweaving department in the Bezalel Art School in 1936. Biography of Forchheimer and brief notes on each of the participating artists. Basic and descriptive entries. 44 items.
