Primarily photographic exhibition on the history of this American, southern Jewish community. Introduction by Eli N. Evans. Five individual sections on: Identifying (David R. Blumenthal), Beginning (Deborah Dash Moore), Belonging (Deborah Lipstadt), Interacting (Evans) and Building Community (Marc Lee Raphael). Ceremonial objects exhibited were almost exclusively European. Unnumbered listing of photographs only.
