Description

An abridged version, and the only American venue, of the Friedrich Adler exhibition that toured Germany beginning in Munich, 1994 [#1308]. The show examined the artistic, social and political climate that shaped Adler’s life and work. Historical-biographical introduction (Rebecca Keller). Exhibits included synagogue designs and ritual art, most from the Spertus Museum (which lent several important works by Adler for the German exhibition). No itemized listing. Circa 100 items.
