Description

A monumental exhibition intended to facilitate the return of books and objects stolen from Jews by the Nazis to their rightful owners. These items currently reside in the Nuremberg Stadtbibliothek, subsumed under the heading “Sammlung Israelitische Kultusgemeinde IKG” [Collection Jewish Community Nuremberg]. The bulk of the catalog presents biographies and photographs of those who were robbed of their possessions, and, where possible, describes the specific item to be claimed.
