Description

The history of typography in Holland, presented in celebration of the 150-year anniversary of the Tetterode firm, whose Typographic Library has been housed in the University Library since 1971. Includes brief section “Het Athiaskastje” [The Athias Cabinet] (pp. 20–21, John A. Lane). This remarkable cabinet, and its collection of Hebrew typographical material from the 17th C onward, was given to the Rosenthalia Library on permanent loan in honor of this anniversary. 78 items, including a selection of Hebrew and Yiddish books and broadsheets (listed separately, see below).
