Ceremonial and domestic items, many of them from the homes of Thessaloniki Jews who emigrated to Eretz Israel between 1930–1940. Material displayed according to individual holidays, life cycle events, and costume, each with explanatory texts. 29 items.

Description

The exhibition was created by and debuted at Bar Ilan University in 1993. It was the first loan exhibition presented at the Jewish Museum of Thessaloniki. The catalog was produced for the Greek showing.
