The Rose Haggadah: a unique artists’ book of more than 50 years of Passover-themed artwork. Created in 1947 as a family seder guest registry, the book expanded over time into a 3-volume “Haggadah”, filled with artistic responses to the Passover narrative, many of them by renowned artists commissioned by the Rose family. Introductory text. Exhibition checklist, with related works from the Library’s collections. 29 items.
