76 of the 1,200 looted artworks that were originally deposited in the Bezalel Museum for safekeeping and were eventually transferred (with the rest of the Bezalel Museum’s collection) to the Israel Museum. By displaying and publicizing these objects, none of which have any provenance information, the Israel Museum continues its ever-increasing efforts to restore looted works to their rightful owners.
