Description

A revolutionary Judaica workshop in Jerusalem based on a system of teamwork, established by Yossi Swed in 1975. The workshop produces structurally complex Judaica objects (each one developed by more than 100 individual experts) that can be easily dissembled, and thereby cleaned, polished and maintained in mint condition. Most unusual are Sweds’ “Secret Books”: silver book-form containers that conceal within them sets of ceremonial objects. Brief introductory text. Most objects presented according to holiday. Descriptive texts. 17 items.
