Description

A monumental treatment of the history of the Bible, it’s composition, preservation, adornment, and, most significantly, transmission and dissemination from ancient times until the production of the King James Bible. Extensive descriptions of 100 items from the exhibition, which featured biblical antiquities and numerous Christian Bibles (printed books and illuminated manuscripts). The exhibition also included Hebrew manuscripts (undecorated), and Jewish ceremonial objects. Circa 400 items.
