The first Israeli exhibition of Adler’s works. Essay “Introducing Friedrich Adler” (Batsheva Goldman Ida) recounts the artist’s training at the Debschitz School and the Deutscher Werkbund, and Adler’s position as one of the first industrial designers of the modern age. Adler’s Twelve Tribes stained-glass window, Judaica objects, and other works demonstrate the innovativeness of early Modern industrial design and the pre-Bauhaus school. No itemized listing.
