An exhibition on the Babylonian exile and its aftermath, inspired by and focusing upon the Al-Yahudu archive. This outstanding collection of approximately 200 cuneiform tablets presents the earliest evidence of the Judean exiles as they rebuilt their lives in Babylonia. The tablets were exhibited here for the first time, supplemented by other archaeological finds, and artistic depictions from the medieval and modern eras, which together related and illustrated the story of the Jewish people’s resilience.
