Description

The work processes and principal contributions of three ground-breaking graphic designers—Moshe Spitzer, Franzisca Baruch, and Henri Friedlaender—each of whom studied and worked in pre-World War II Germany before immigrating to Israel, where they continued to be active for decades. The exhibition presented a selection of their key works, including the emblem of the City of Jerusalem, the Hadassah typeface, and books published by Tarshish. Introduction by Ada Wardi. Introductory essays on the development of the Hebrew letter in Germany and the early State of Israel.
