Description |
Works of 15 Israeli artists in paint, sculpture, print and video, relating to the Libra zodiac sign and the New Year. Exhibits convey abstract themes of weight, balance and measurement, and concepts such as justice, power and control. Judaica objects from the Gross Family Collection illustrate the introductory text, which recalls the history and meaning of the Libra sign in both Babylonian and Jewish tradition (Shira Friedman).
