An exhibition almost identical to that held in Bevis Marks in 1933, featuring documents, portraits, ceremonial objects and books related to 1. the history of the Bevis Marks synagogue and its members, and 2. the history of England’s Sepharadim. Ceremonial objects featured under “Synagogue Appurtenances and Miscellanea” (pp. 18–19, cat. nos. 128–150). The exhibition did not include the selection of “Montefioriana” that was included in the original show. Basic listings. 200 items.
