Abū al-Maḥāsin Jurjānī, Ḥusayn b. Ḥasan, an Imāmī scholar, and the author of a Persian commentary on the Qurʾān entitled Jilāʾ al-adhhān wa jalāʾ al-aḥzān. Nothing is known of his life; even the century in which he lived has not been determined. The first source which mentions Abū al-Maḥāsin, imparting scant information about him, is Afandī Iṣfahānī who devoted a few lines to him in his Riyāḍ al-ʿulamāʾ (2/85–86).
