Abū Manṣūr al-Iṣfahānī, Maʿmar b. Aḥmad b. Muḥammad b. Ziyād (d. Ramaḍān 418/October 1027) was a Ḥanbalī Sufi and traditionist of Iṣfahān. The appearance of his name in some works as ‘Abū Manṣūr b. Maʿmar’ and ‘Abū Maʿmar’ (al-Māfarrūkhī, 30; al-Hujwīrī, 62), is a scribal error and the result of carelessness by authors or copyists.
