Aflākī, Shams al-Dīn Aḥmad al-ʿĀrifī (d. 761/1360), the author of Manāqib al-ʿārifīn, the well-known Persian hagiographical source on Jalāl al-Dīn Rūmī, including his father, spiritual masters and his family, and the early saints of the Mawlawiyya Sufi order.
