ʿĀrif Qazwīnī, Abū al-Qāsim (1258–1312 Sh./1879–1934) was a nationalist Iranian poet and musician.

His Music

ʿĀrif states in a poem, ‘Nature granted me four talents’ namely music, singing, composition and poetry (ʿĀrif, Dīwān, 482–483). He performed his own music in concerts and his ghazals were written to correspond with the programme and content of his songs and concerts.
