Amīr Chūpān

Chūpān b. Malik b. Tūdāʾūn (d. 727/1327) was the first statesman of this dynasty which derived from the Mongol tribe of Sūldūs. This tribe came to Persia during the time of Hūlāgū Khān (r. 654–663/1256–1265) (Rashīd al-Dīn, 1/177–178; Kāshanī, 8; Banākatī, 362–363).
