The Great Mosque of Dizfūl, the dating of which is uncertain, is situated in Maydān-i Imām Khumaynī, the main roundabout of the city of Dizfūl in the Iranian province of Khūzistān. The central part of the mosque is a courtyard of approximately 26 x 27.5 m (Imām Ahwāzī, Masjid, 15) bound on the north and western aspects by a wall, on the east by a colonnade (riwāq), and on the south by a prayer hall (shabistān).
