Abstract
The term Arcado-Cypriot is commonly used to refer to a group of Ancient Greek dialects also called Achaean; 1st-millennium Arcadian and Cypriot belong to this Achaean family, sharing a good number of characteristics recognized mostly as old and attributed to the common geographical origin of their speakers.
