Abstract

The Rhodian dialect is the Doric variant spoken on the island of Rhodes, which is situated in the southeast of the Aegean Sea, and in the so-called ‘Rhodian Peraea’, in the territory of the region of Caria in Asia Minor, located opposite the island.
