Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan province. Chengdu consists of the eight urban districts Chenghua, Jinjiang, Jinniu, Qingyang, Wuhou, Gaoxin, Longquan, and Qingbaijiang, as well as of a broad hinterland in which the four cities Pengzhou, Chongzhou, Qionglai, and Dujiangyan are located.
