1. General

Lìsù 傈僳 is spoken in China, Burma, Thailand, and India. There are also Lìsù refugees from Burma in Malaysia and various western countries. In China, most Lìsù are in the northwestern parts of Yúnnán Province, with a small number in southwestern Sìchuān Province.
