1. Concept and Criteria
1.1. There is no generally acknowledged definition of sociology. In the broadest sense the word refers to the science of society, that is, the science of people living together, especially of the constantly changing structures that spring from the common activities of people and that, in themselves, determine people’s activities (Action Theory).
