The Alba Bible, 1422-1430/31, features a Castilian translation of Hebrew Scripture and an expository apparatus by Rabbi Moses Arragel of Guadalajara. The deluxe codex was made for Don Luis de Guzmán, Grand Master of the Order of Calatrava.

The eponymous Bible belonging to the ducal house of Alba (Madrid, Liria Palace) is one of the most extraordinary manuscripts of the late Middle Ages.
