An organization founded in 1873 that saw its sphere of activity chiefly in the eastern regions of the Habsburg Empire and the neighboring Eastern European countries. The Israelitische Allianz zu Wien campaigned for the propagation of modern education and emancipation. In the face of extreme crisis situations, it also organized help for Jewish emigrants.
