Trial against Julius (1918–1953) and Ethel Rosenberg (1915–1953; née Greenglass) as well as Morton Sobell (1917–2018) in 1951 in New York. The defendants were charged with, as part of an organized espionage ring, having given confidential information about the construction of the atomic bomb to the Soviet Union.
