Israeli actress Yael Abecassis has starred in numerous Israeli and international feature films. Born in Israel in 1967 to a family of Moroccan background, she worked as a model and an on-screen presenter for children’s television, and began her movie career in 1991 with the French film Pour Sacha (dir.
