Indonesia and International Law

Indonesia proclaimed itself as an independent and sovereign country on August 17, 1945. Since then, Indonesia has always interacted with international law. Even the Preamble to the Indonesian Constitution says that “… participates in implementing world order based on independence, eternal peace, and social justice, …”.
