A particular type of dictionary is presented – the explanatory combinatorial dictionary (ECD), which is a formalized semantically based and co-occurrence-oriented lexicon, part of the Meaning⇔Text linguistic model of language. After an introduction, the ECD’s main properties are listed, and the structure of an ECD lexical entry is described.
