It is well known that peoples of Central Asia had a developed folkloric dramatic art tradition in the past, and that folklore reflected many events of public life. Numerous written sources and archeological finds indicate that Central Asian women played a significant role in the development of national culture, particularly in the spheres of poetry, dance, and music.
